Miscellaneous spelling errors
Pâté [pah-tay] has two accents;
pate [pait] means “skull,”
pâte [peht] is a term in ceramics, and
paté doesn’t mean a thing.
Ris à l’amande has an accent over the a.
Pears belle Hélène has two accents.
We spell crème in Danish everywhere
except in Marinerede vindruer med vaniljecreme
Marsh-mellow godter
in the index only should be Marshmallow godter
Béarnaise has an accent in (French and) English.
Frikassé has an accent in Danish
but fricassee in English has none,
so the Kalvefrikasse is in error
while the Sommerfrikassé is correct.
